| PROPERTIES |

- each bolt assembly consist of: a bolt (DIN 6914), a nut (DIN 6915), two washers (DIN 6916 - round washers or DIN 6917 - square taper washers for U-sections or DIN 6918 - square taper washers for I-sections),
- nuts, washers and bolt heads are enlarged (wider across flats) - as against machine bolts,
- bolt thread length is independent of the bolt length - in each of the two length ranges for any diameter,
- material resistance: bolts - class 10.9; nuts - class 10,
- hardened washers,
- every item is marked with PEINER HV or P HV as well as with a property class (bolts and nuts),
- every bolt is additionally marked on its head with a serial number,
- anti-corrosion protection by hot dip galvanizing,
- zinc coating layer thickness of 50 up to and incl. 70
 m,
- bolt thread after galvanizing is oversized (over-tapped),
- thread of galvanized nuts (for use with galvanized bolts) is also oversized,
- nut thread is not zinc-coated,
- lubrication of galvanized assemblies - the nuts are coated with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) in the manufacturing process.
Bolts, nuts and washers should originate from the same manufacturer - as to maintain adequate tightening parameters.
